Details
A vessel that wears its age with grace and a timeless sense of elegance. This small, sculptural vase is a masterpiece of artistry, with a graceful, fluted form and a beautiful light blue crackle glaze. This is an antique piece, likely dating to the early 20th century. Its celadon hue is a celestial color, and the delicate network of fissures that covers the surface is a deliberate and highly prized technique. The crackle glaze creates a beautiful roadmap of time, adding a layer of depth and authenticity to its classic shape. Originally, a vase of this quality would have been a decorative art object for a formal setting or used as a ceremonial vase. In a modern home, it can be a magnificent accent for a mantel or a bookshelf, its timeless form and rich color making it a striking stand-alone piece to be admired on its own, or a graceful vase for a single, slender bloom. *Era: Antique *Material: Porcelain *Size: 5“(D) x 9“(H) Top 1.5" *Color: Blue *Condition: Wear consistent with age & use, blemishes and imperfections will be present.
