American coin silver capstan footed napkin ring, c.1875. This elegant and unusual napkin ring has applied Rosette borders and an engraved body, inscribed: Gladys. Weighing 38 grams, this attractive napkin ring is 1 3/4" in diameter and 1 5/8" tall. On its capstan feet, it sits just over 2" tall. Inscribed as described above, the soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing.
