German 800 standard silver set of faceted beaker and small octagonal napkin ring. Beaker is accented with thread band and gilt interior, napkin ring has applied rims. Both pieces have engraved inscription "Fred Herman" on the front. Made by Wilhelm Binder, c. 1920. Retailed by Louis Wallerstein, comes with original box. This handsome set measures: beaker is 1 3/4" in bottom diameter, 2 3/8" in top diameter and 3 1/8" tall; napkin ring is 1 9/16" in diameter and 15/16" wide. Total weight is 94.7 grams or 3.05 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
