Large ornate Italian sterling silver center piece bowl with cast acanthus leaf, open work handles and feet, and floral Repousse decorations around the body. This handsome bowl was made in 1960s. The bowl is 18" across the handles, 9 3/8" wide, 6 1/8" tall and weighs 1453 grams or 46.7 ozs Troy. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
