A lively Western scene depicting a group of horseback riders and cowboys gathered with horses and cattle against a mountain landscape. Painted with loose, expressive brushwork and a rich palette, the work has the energetic quality characteristic of Zakheim’s figurative paintings. Presented in its custom wood frame with turquoise-painted accents. The frame compliments the piece nicely. His work is held in collections including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Measures 20" x 26", in frame 26.5" x 32"
