Details: Bauhaus trained, Mexico City based designer, Michael Van Beuren created highly functional modern pieces inspired by Mexican vernacular styles and materials. This example, c.1950s Mexico has a pine frame with a woven rattan seat. The piece lays flat and can be used as a bench or even a table. As a lounger it is adjustable at the seat back and footrest. Dimensions: 75" width x 27.75" depth x 29" height; 11.5" seat height Condition: Good vintage condition; shows signs of wear in accordance with age and use.
