American sterling silver Aesop′s Fables creamer by R. Blackinton Silversmiths, c.1900. This fabulous creamer features acid etched scenes from three of Aesop′s Fables: The Dog and His Reflection The Heron The Fox and The Grapes all done in marvelous detail. The wide D shaped handle is in excellent condition and the inside of the creamer is clean, making it ideal for use. Weighing 116 grams or 3.7 ozs. Troy, this special creamer or small milk jug is 2 5/8" in diameter, 4" handle to spout and 3 1/4" tall. The soft, warm, original finish is present, with no buffing or machine polishing. The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no monograms, removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering
