Danish Modern Reclining Lounge Chair and Ottoman by H.W. Klein for Bramin

Details

Designed by renowned Danish designer Henry Walter Klein for Bramin Møbler, this iconic Model 207 reclining lounge chair and ottoman exemplify the refined craftsmanship and sculptural beauty that define the best of Scandinavian modern design. Graceful from every angle, the chair features Klein’s signature wingback silhouette, creating a striking profile that feels both dramatic and inviting. Expertly crafted from solid teak, the base showcases beautifully sculpted lines, tapered legs, and elegant joinery that highlight the warmth and character of the wood. The integrated reclining mechanism allows the chair to adjust effortlessly into multiple lounging positions, offering exceptional comfort without compromising its refined form. The matching ottoman echoes the same organic design language, completing the relaxed luxury experience. Professionally reupholstered in boucle, the chair and ottoman are accented with rich brown leather piping that beautifully frames the silhouette while complementing the deep tones of the teak. The contrast between the upholstery and finely crafted wood creates a timeless visual balance that feels both modern and inviting. More than simply a place to sit, this celebrated Danish design transforms a room with its sculptural presence, offering a warm, welcoming retreat for reading, conversation, or quiet moments of relaxation. Retaining its original manufacturer’s tag on the ottoman, this is a highly collectible example of Henry Walter Klein’s enduring design legacy.
