Italian Modern Round Faux Marble and Steel Coffee Table by Willy Rizzo

Details

Designed by the legendary Italian designer Willy Rizzo, this vintage round coffee table embodies the glamorous modernism that made Rizzo one of the most influential figures in European design during the 1970s. Bold yet refined, the table pairs a dramatic faux marble top with a sleek brushed steel pedestal base, creating a striking contrast of texture, color, and material that feels as relevant today as when it was first introduced. The generously scaled circular top showcases a captivating black faux marble finish with flowing white and warm-toned veining. The pattern wraps seamlessly over the thick edge, emphasizing the piece's sculptural quality and demonstrating the attention to detail that defined Rizzo’s work. Beneath, the cylindrical steel base provides visual balance while giving the table an elegant floating presence. Rizzo was celebrated for combining luxury materials with clean architectural forms, and this design perfectly captures that philosophy. Its simplicity allows the dramatic surface to take center stage, while the restrained silhouette ensures it integrates effortlessly into a variety of interiors. Imagine this table in your home, where its dark polished surface reflects natural light throughout the room. Whether paired with a vintage sectional, chrome lounge chairs, or contemporary furnishings, it serves as both a functional centerpiece and a sculptural statement. Equal parts art object and coffee table, this piece captures the enduring allure of Italian modern design.
