Details
A refined Bauer Pottery vase, produced in Los Angeles circa 1930, featuring a tall, waisted silhouette with a gently flared rim and footed base. The balanced, architectural form reflects Bauer’s signature ability to modernize classical shapes through clean lines and strong proportions. Finished in a deep high-gloss black glaze, the surface is smooth and richly saturated, emphasizing the elegance of the form and offering a striking contrast to brighter interiors. Black examples are less commonly encountered than Bauer’s iconic bright colorways, lending this piece added visual presence and appeal. A timeless and versatile example of 1930s American studio pottery, valued for its simplicity, form, and enduring design. Measures 7" x 7" x 12"
