The Caligra Noir | Antique Black Lacquer Secretary Desk

Details

Victorian oak slant-front with carved crest and fitted interior This antique black lacquer secretary desk carries two histories at once: first as an American golden-oak slant-front secretary made around 1900–1915, and now as the black lacquered piece it became through careful restoration. A carved crest rises above the writing plane, and a carved medallion centers the fall-front, which drops to reveal a fitted interior of open compartments above three graduated drawers. 29 W × 12 D × 56 H in. | Circa 1900–1915 | Probably United States Includes complimentary insured white-glove delivery throughout the contiguous United States.
